Jonathan James Rodriguez

Musician, actor, comedian, and as of the pandemic, playwright, Jonathan James Rodriguez has been on the stage since the age of 9. Coming from the Performing Arts Powerhouse, Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club in the Bronx NY, Jonathan has performed at a multitude of major venues across the country first, as a competitive drummer, and later as a front-man for the neo hip-hop band International EA, before falling in love with the theatre in 2017. In 2023 Jonathan wrote, directed, produced, as well as worked sound and lights for his showing of his densely dramatic, and yet still humorous, short play Evelyn & Adam which debuted at NY Theatre Festival. As of lately, Jonathan has been living in Puerto Rico constructing the stage play Salon Boriqua. A true telling of a historic barbershop at the epicenter of USAs colonization of the island.
