Brownsville Bred, written, performed and lived by Elaine Del Valle  won several NYC awards and festivals before being successfully produced at The Nuyorican Poet's Cafe.  It's first AEA Regional production was at Westchester's Schoolhouse Theater where it was directed by Pamela Moller Kareman.  "I'm taking this off Broadway" said Kareman bringing together a team of producers who was inspired by the play as much as she was. Simon McLean, Quinn Cassavale of Theater 808 and The Schoolhouse Theater brought BROWNSVILLE BRED to it's Off Broadway Premiere at the prestigious 59E59 Theaters (Summer/2011). BROWNSVILLE BRED played to sold out houses and received rave reviews.
